Surveys are out!

Hey Players,

Sorry for the delay. Surveys are out. If you don't have an email in your inbox yet with a link to the survey (and you weren't a pay-over-time backer), let me know, and we'll make sure you get it ASAP.  If we can get the majority of the surveys filled out by the 21st, we'll start sending out digital rewards the week of the 26th. And we'll begin shipping out physical rewards to the backers who just ordered the Paul Story/ didn't order the hardcover. 

With the Game Volume One hardcover, we're working on the print file now. That will be done sometime this month. We'll send the PDF to you at the same time we do to the printer. And once we have a firm eta on delivery from the printer, we'll give you an updated timeline. 

In other news, on Monday we're returning to Kickstarter with a campaign for the White Ash Volume Two Master Edition Hardcover.

This 400-plus-page volume, collecting the second arc of the series, is being printed in our 11"x 7.25" oversized format. The luxury hardcover collection will be a match to our Volume One Master Editions and includes:

• All the original Kickstarter stories (Chapters 05-10.5) and covers
• New Pin Ups
• Foil Stamping
• Choice of Dust Jackets
• Optional Slipcase

We'll also be offering an all-new, digital White Ash prequel story as part of the campaign. Oh, and just so you know.

Hey Players,

Everything is going smoothly here. We're in the process of doing one final editorial pass to make sure any typos, etc we might have missed when we put out the original issues are fixed for the hardcover. We should be finished with that early next week and will move into the design phase of the book.  That shouldn't take too long and we will have the PDF for you some time next month (and the book to the printer as well).

Sorry for the delay on the surveys, the goal is to have those some time next week. Once we have those in hand, we can start sending out the digital rewards.

Hey Players,

Thank you all so much for helping us finish off the first round of The Game in style. We're thrilled to be able to bring you this book. It's just the beginning, with many volumes planned for the future. And we're only able to do this because of you, our incredibly loyal and growing fanbase. You all are the BEST!!!

If you’ve been with us before, you know we like to provide a roadmap for what the timeline is looking like going forward. 

But before we dive into The When, we wanted to give a  shout-out to The Who -- the incredible artists who help bring The Game life. Here are the links to their socials, if you’d like to get to know any of them better and give them a follow.

Also, with the current ever-changing nature of social media, if you like the kind of books we put out, I’d suggest giving me (Charlie) a follow on Kickstarter or joining our mailing list. That way you'll be sure to know when we're going to drop something new.  And don't worry, we don't spam our backers with the mailing list.  We only send out one (maybe two when we have a KS live) blasts a month.  

NOTE: We use Kickstarter hidden reward tiers to offer special discounts through our mailing list to our subscribers. These are always the cheapest ways to get our books. So if you haven't signed up before... now's the time.

But back to The Game and what's next. Here's a schedule of things going forward.

Week One — Taking care of business. Kickstarter collects fees, and backers who may have forgotten that their credit card has expired/was stolen/was maxed out buying scalped tickets to an IMAX screening of The Odyssey, will be given a chance to update it.  

PLEASE CHECK and see if you're one of the 23 backers that have a notification from KS.  ALL CARDS NEED TO BE RESOLVED BY TUESDAY NIGHT.

(NOTE: If you're having financial difficulties, we understand. Kickstarter only gives a one-week window to resolve your card issues. If you need more time, message us. You’ll be able to resolve your card issues post-campaign in Backerkit.)

Week Three-ish - Tell Us What We Need To Know  (around end of August/ early September) — As soon as Kickstarter has finalized the backer list, we’ll send out our Surveys. Please fill these out as quickly as possible. Our plan is to start fulfilling the digital catch-up rewards by early next month.

Week Five - Here Come the Catch-up Digital Goods (around September 8th) — Once we have all the surveys back and we have your emails and addresses in hand, we'll send out all the PDF’s that are finished. (Paul's story and other White Ash Universe rewards) 

After that, we’ll keep you posted. As of now, everything is on track for a late September delivery of the PDF for Volume one and physical fulfillment commencing in December when the books get back from the printer.  That said, if we hit any delays, we'll make sure that you're kept firmly in the loop.

Back from San Diego Comic Con and we brought Goodies

Hey Players,

We are back from San Diego and mostly recovered from the five day marathon of fun, friends and so many comics. Thank you to all of you who stopped by the booth this year.

We had a few guests come by including and epic signing with Layne, Jodie and Skylar. 

We wish all of you could have been there. But for those of you who couldn't make it, we brought back a few more copies of our SDCC exclusive. Those have now been released and are available in the add-on section of the campaign. 

The Game co-creators Charlie and Conor also signed a handful of the SDCC exclusives (and Conor was kind enough to also remark those too). 

The signed and remarked copies are also now available as add-ons. 

We'll be back this weekend when we've recovered a little bit more. Thanks for all the support everyone. We can't wait to get this volume to you.

Hey Players, it's official...

Thank you all for an amazing first 24 hours of the campaign. We smashed through that funding goal. And now we can focus on making the best book possible for you.
